About the site
Abbey Mill Business Park stands on the site of a former watermill originally dating from Saxon times. The mill continued to operate up to the end of the 19th century variously processing corn, pepper and wool. The adjacent medieval bridge was constructed by the monks of the nearby Waverley Abbey.
